2,5This book started just fine but somewhere in the middle i got distracted It lacked on editing in some places, which i don t like and surely missed the spark that could make it better.
It also repeated too much on the Dual POV and it just felt rushed on other parts.
For example we never found out Brooke went back to her family house to live.
No we had to remember that from the first book.
It wasn t DNF but had multi problems.
I think the biggest was that part of the story was happening along with Rina and Dante s story.
That could give a perfect alternate perspective but it did n work.
The whole Tally situation was childish and goofy and i missed the Hart family.
But the sex was amazing and the chemistry was strong.
Around 80% of the book things started to look better and better.
And the end was really good.
THO Will write my review and rate it when I have finished the whole box set I want to review and rate them all together since for me each book is a part of the other and if you read the first one, you have to read them all to get the whole story for all the characters.
This Is An Alternate Cover Edition Of ISBN Damien Hart Will Never Allow Himself To Fall Into A Committed Relationship He S Seen The Worst Of The Worst, And He Knows That There Isn T A Woman On Earth That Will Ever Change His Mind All Of That Changes The Moment He Meets Brooke Tyler Damien S Entire View Of Women And Relationships Is Rocked By Her, And Though He Tries, He Can T Make Himself Stay Away Brooke Is ☆ Shattered Hart (The Hart Family, #2) ¿ Download by ☆ Ella Fox Everything Damien Never Knew That He Wanted Will He Be Able To Let Go Of His Past And Take A Chance On Love This Is An EROTIC Romance Get A Fan Ready, Because Damien Is Going To Heat You Up A quick, fast read Nothing new here, but the author does a really good job of making you feel connected to the characters I could have done without the POV redundancy, excellent strategy but poor execution Also, this book is in serious need of editing Grammatical errors galore and even places where the wrong name is being used Normally if there are only a few I can overlook it, but these were all over the place Even with all that, I ll definitely continue on with the series I m really looking forward to Delilah and Spencer s story.
Ella Fox has a writing style that unfortunately gets on my nerves Add to that, this book had annoying characters, and I struggled to get to the end The main characters were both far too immature, and their rambling inner monologue drove me batty How can I make him want me, over and over from her, and his insistence that he wasn t good enough from him That was really all I seemed to get from the whole story.
The sexual tension was high, and if I could have just cared for either mc I could of enjoyed this as a quick, hot read.
The best part was the ending, not just that I managed to get there, but the lead up for the next book I already have it on my kindle, so I will read it, but I am in no hurry to get around to it With a tbr as large as mine, I am sure that I can find better things to read for a while first.
HOLY FREAKING WOW YET ANOTHER 5 STARS FOR ELLA FOX This book was so damn yummy.
I ate this sucker up like a pint of BenJerry s chunky monkey ice cream.
DELICIOUS Brooke has been in love with Damien since the moment she laid eyes on him a couple of years earlier.
she had no idea that Damien felt the same way One night he gave in an inch and took things further than he felt he should have alowwed himself too.
he shut it down before it went further.
leaving Brooke confused, heart broken, and pissed.
Damien is constantl fighting his feelings for her until he just can t do it any The heat and chemistry between Damien and Brooke was scorching.
Damien really knew how to take it to the bank and lock that deposit up Thier love was a sweet simmer that just built and built into and all consuming love.
but not without obstacles But once they get on the sa ✓ Shattered Hart (The Hart Family, #2) ☆ Phenomenal Absolutely phenomenal I didn t realize until I read this book how much additional depth hearing a story through both the hero and the heroine s POV added I LOVED Broken Hart, but I see now that knowing how Dante felt would have added evento the story I read a review over onabout this book that indicated that the reader had an issue with the first half of this book explaining a few key scenes between the H h through both points of view For me, it added SO MUCH to the story I loved Damien Loved loved loved loved loved him Hearing his thoughts and understanding where he was coming from made me invest in the story evenI understood why he did the things he did, even when I didn t agree with him particularly the stupid ass plan The thing we knew for certain about Damien through the entire book was that he loved Brooke so much that he
DNF at Page 110.
Ugh, I tried, but I vethan reached my limit now Where to start I already wasn t all that happy with the first book but thanks to not being able to leave a book of a series on my reader, I still started the second book I m not sure where all the high ratings come from, as I disagree to 100% It s a case of Did we read the same book Let s start with the dual POVs Damien and Brooke tell the story in mostly alternating chapters, which would be quite alright if one POV wouldn t simply repeat every goddamn action that the other POV already covered That combined with some recounting of events from the first book, had me reading almost every event twice ergo half the book would have been enough, it almost felt like the author was just tryi I really wanted to like this story After reading the first book Broken Hart, I was actually excited and looking forward to this one But the constant change of POV ruined it for me Normally it doesn t matter to me, if it is well written, but here it was just annoying one moment we have Damien s POV and then turn of page and we have the EXACT SAME MOMENT from the beginning but with Brooke s POV The exact same scene, same dialogues, everything There are even a numerous of scenes from book 1 yes same dialogues and all but again from each POV All in all the book is finally really short since you are constantly re reading the same thing and I felt like nothing was happening between the characters.
After half of the book I
Damien Hart a self confessed man whore, his sole concern for relationships is that of a physical nature, however this bad boy finds himself in love with a close friend of the family The story shows the journey of Damien discovering that he is capable of loving another, sweet girly sigh and moving past his own demons to have the HEA he deserves.
Brooke is a sweet, likeable innocent character that is helplessly in love with one of the Hart boys She is loveable from the start and the author plays out her character brilliantly.
A few up s and downs, tears, fears and all manner of possessiveness A story of enduring love conquers all A sweet but steamy second instalment of the Hart series Great easy, short read and a tidy follow on from book one I
